Alyssa Sturgill appearance and signing (Morgantown)

From West Virginia Author, Alyssa Sturgill, courtesy of WVW Second Vice President Elect Terry McNemar's e-mailing list...

I am trying to get the word out about a book signing and reading I will be doing with Michael Arnzen on July 8, 2006 at the Morgantown Barnes & Noble. I am a local (from Morgantown), and the author of Spider Pie, a collection of short, bizarre horror stories. Michael Arnzen is the Stoker Award-winning author of 100 Jolts, Play Dead, and other books. He is currently teaching horror writing at a university(Seton Hill) in PA. Also present will be John Lawson, a
poet, fiction author, musician, and publisher from Raw Dog Screaming Press.

Even if you don't want to buy any books, all are welcome to drop by and visit, listen to the readings, and participate in giveaways. There will also be fresh-baked "spider" pie for those who attend (Okay, so they're not real spiders, but it'll still be good). Anyone who is interested in horror, publishing, or unusual poetry or fiction is sure to get something out of this most unusual event.

The signing will begin at 11:00 a.m. Sat. July 8, 2006 at Barnes and Noble, University Town Center, 3000 University Towne Centre Dr., Morgantown, WV (304 599 1294).

Please pass on this info to anyone you think may be interested.

Thanks!

Alyssa Sturgill
